Casa Mia in Heidelberg

#Delivery Ordered 2 pizzas (capricciosas). Delivery arrived on time, but unfortunately we are very unhappy with it overall. Dough, tomato sauce and especially the olives are way too tasteless. Adding salt alone couldn't save that either. The dough, theoretically pleasantly thin, but completely soggy due to the delivery and the many mushrooms (far too many mushrooms in a pizza). Too little cheese, although the taste is probably rather good. There was half an artichoke heart per pizza. The impression remains: You can't order this pizza. In the restaurant it could certainly score better - better seasoned.

We heard about Casa Mia through a flyer in the mailbox. The great selection of starters encouraged us to try out the delivery service. The delivery was there incredibly quickly and all the dishes ordered were hot and fresh. The pizzas were exceptionally tasty and topped with great products. The starters were also really good. We are happy to order here again =)

Very good restaurant !! The pizza dough is generally a bit cross and thin but there is something for every taste!

I am very disappointed. I made a home order that was quick but the two pizzas were a major disaster. I am very sorry but that was the worst pizza I have eaten. The calzone was like a sandwich - a row of cheese and a row of ham between two rows of dough and done. The tiramisu for € 7 was very small. I would never order it again.

We are, my family and I, in Heidelberg for a few days. After two days of eating approximately I searched the web and found this restaurant. We took trio of bruschetta and three first courses of pasta .... exceptional !!! It was like being in Italy: masterful cheese and pepper! The owner and his friendly and absolutely competent collaborators. A positive experience in every sense. 5 stars but if they were more, it would deserve them all.

The taste is okay. The seafood pasta tasted normal, and the fish and meat pasta was a bit greasy. Two plates of noodles plus a glass of coke and a bottle of beer cost a total of 35.

I really like Casa Mia. Pizza with porcini mushrooms is particularly recommended! You can also sit outside very nicely, the service was always friendly. Small deduction for the fact that to my taste (tastes are known to differ) it could sometimes be a bit more spicy (but there is salt and pepper for that), e.g. the bruscetta, which can be a real feast for the palate with little effort, were a bit boring and that you sometimes have to wait a bit - which I gladly accept for a good meal. Good food is getting around!

Best pizza ever I've had in Heidelberg We were 4 people without reservation, but luckily we got a table because of earliest time. If you planning to go there just make sure you book a table otherwise you won't have tasty food there.

A recent addition to the local Weststadt eating options. We always found Italian restaurants in the area dated, overpriced for the quality offered and not particularly tasty. This place has done a great job as the interior has a modern, welcoming design, the food is excellent in its simplicity and the prices are a bargain for the quality. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Reservation recommended but not necessary for couples. The restaurant is relatively quiet during early lunch time on weekdays, so for me a great spot for business lunches as well. Only the dessert is for my taste a bit too expensive, probably justified for the size and quality but the menu can afford a smaller, simpler addition. Do try the Cacio e Pepe chips and the pizza prosciutto.

The best Arancini in Germany, reminded us of Sicily vacation. The pizza had amazing crust. The pasta had just the right amount of herbs n spices. Must try are home made potatoe chips with pecorino cheese n pepper.

The location of the restaurant is still excellent, on a quiet roadside, the restaurant is full of windows, and there are several tables outside, and the atmosphere is good outside in the summer.
